They still watch what they love.
Their favourite apps stay on the TV, locked until you type the PIN. You pick how long, and when that’s up it locks again. Thereon, Pip fills their TV with the good stuff that helps them grow.

Videos play inside WhyKite.
Pip plays every video right here. Picks the next from the same checked list. Only Made for Kids videos, from channels you can switch on or off.
Every story carries a little lesson.
You choose. Pip weaves them together into fun learning.
- Manners and valuesKindness, honesty, saying sorry
- Growth mindsetI can’t do it… yet
- Positive thinkingFinding the bright side
- Delayed gratificationSome things are worth the wait
- First principlesAsking why, then why again
- Systems thinkingHow everything connects

Pip does the heavy lifting.
New stories and questions every time, pitched at each child’s age, with videos to match. Nothing for you to plan, prepare or sit through.
Then Pip sends them off to play.
When they’re all done, Pip cheers them on and tells them it’s time to go play with their toys.

No endless TV. No unchecked videos.
WhyKite’s lock guards every app on the TV. Nothing opens without your say, and every unlock ends on time.

Questions, answered.
Which TVs does it work on?
Android/Google TVs with Android 11 or later. Your TV’s updates stay as they are.
Can they still watch their favourite apps?
Yes, guided by you. Each app opens with your PIN, for as long as you choose. In WhyKite itself, videos play right inside the app.
Are there ads?
Some videos may carry ads from the platform that hosts them. We can’t turn those off, and we never add our own.
Who chooses the videos?
We pick kid channels and playlists. You can switch any off, or add your own from your phone. Every video is a Made for Kids video, read by our safety check, and new ones wait three days.
Do I have to do anything every day?
No. Pip takes care of it, and the lock and time limits run on their own. Change things from your phone whenever you like.
What do you keep about my kids?
What you choose to share: a first name or nickname, and their age, so Pip can pitch things at the right level. And for 90 days, which activities your family played and which videos it finished, so new ones come first. We don’t keep what they say to Pip. (We, the cofounders, are parents too. We built WhyKite for our own kids first, then shared it.) Our privacy notice has the rest.
What if I forget the PIN?
Set a new one from your phone, under PIN.
Do I need to be at the TV to change things?
Only to set it up. Everything else from your phone.
What language does Pip speak?
English, in one of your TV’s own voices.
Give them screen time you feel good about.
